One of the advantages of hiring an in-market PR specialist is that this person is capable of maintaining a media network. My network is broad, and I often schedule in-person meetings with the editors-in-chief of print magazines and online platforms. I attend their events and have regular calls with them. Because of this, I know what type of stories they are interested in receiving.
A good PR manager is not someone who just sends out press releases and expects a lot of free publicity. A great PR manager is capable of:
- Finding unique story angles that media will actually like. to use
- Intertwining these story angles with your brand’s message
- Combining paid collaborations with free publicity to ensure a long-lasting relationship with media platforms and magazines

In addition, I am an experienced content marketer with broad knowledge of social media platforms and the skillset to create content that performs well. From Instagram reels to TikTok videos. Did you know that TikTok is being used as a search engine by the younger target audience? And that food and travel is one of the big segments on this platform? And that Tiktok is the right platform to reach people that don’t follow your brand yet? The know-how of the differences between the platforms, what works and what doesn’t, is something you don’t need to worry about. I can take that out of your hands.
HOW I WORK:
I always start a collaboration with a strategic marketing plan for the year. In this plan, we outline your brand’s story or stories, the target audience, and the tone of voice. We also explore your brand’s strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities. Additionally, we include a PR calendar with press releases or story pitches, advertorials, press trips, events, joint promotions, and a social media strategy and plan.
I focus on clients within the travel and leisure industry, from tourism boards to travel brands, and from restaurants to beer brands and theme parks.

Everyone talks about the importance of having a network, but how do you actually start building one? How can you maintain a network? During this interactive workshop, participants will have the chance to ask me questions and work on a networking assignment.
Do you want your team to learn more about storytelling via social media? Would you like someone to guide them through useful tools such as Canva and editing programs? Do you want them to know how to use trends and translate them into successful posts for your company? These are the topics I highlight in this workshop.
